Kadai mushroom (step wise with pictures) easy way

Todays recipe is kadai mushroom. Kadai mushroom is a delicious dish. Today I bring a instant and easy version of kadai mushroom. In the flavourful kadai mushroom specially used coarsly ground Indian spices like whole coriander seeds hole cumin seeds whole fennel seeds and dry red chilli. I have always used to prepare extra quantity of kadai masala and stored in a air tight container for later use.

But I have show you the easy and instant and dry one of my version. Instead of tomato puree I have used diced tomato in this recipe.

Lets read the recipe below –

Kadai mushroom

Ingredients:

  1. Button mushrooms – 300 gm
  2. Capsicum – 2 diced
  3. Tomato – 1 diced
  4. Onion – 1 diced
  5. Chopped ginger garlic – 1 tbsp
  6. Kadai masala – 1/2 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
  8. Oil – 2 tbsp
  9. Salt (According to your taste)

Ingredients for the ground kadai masala –

  • Coriander seeds – 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds – 1/2 tbsp
  • Dry red chilies – 6 to 7

Step wise with pictures –

At first dry roast the whole seeds and dry red chili mentioned below the ground masala . When they release nice aroma take out and let it cool. Then make a coarsly ground powder.

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped ginger garlic.

Add mushrooms now and roast on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

Then add the capsicum and onion . Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and cook on high flame for 2 minutes.

Add tomato and chili flakes and salt. Then add 1/2 tbsp ground kadai masala. Cook on high flame for 2 minutes then take out.

Dry kadai mushroom is done. Take it out and serve.

Ingredients:

  1. Mushrooms – 300gm
  2. Onion – 1 (chopped)
  3. Tomato – 1 (chopped)
  4. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  5. Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  6. Chili flakes- 2 tsp
  7. Curry leaves – 10 to 12 leaves
  8. Oil – 2 tbsp
  9. Salt – according to taste

Wash and cut the mushrooms.

Heat oil in a pan and roast the mushrooms on high flame. till 2 to 3 minutes. Then take out.

In the same pan heat oil and add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds when it starts spluttering add chopped onion and curry leaves. Fry them till golden brown.

After onion became golden brown add ginger garlic paste. Add turmeric powder and cumin powder.

Cook till raw smell is gone.

Then add tomato.

Cook till tomatoes are became soft.

Add the roasted mushrooms. Add chili flakes and adjust salt. Then cook for 3 minutes on low flame with covered lid.

Masala mushroom

Masala mushroom is ready now serve with your choiced food.

It’s an Indian okra recipe prepared with onions and okra as main ingredients. I have my own simple bhindi do pyaza recipe. Okra is a good source of fibre and boosts digestion.

I personally love bhindi do pyaza. I share a very easy recipe with you. My version of bhindi do pyaza is easy to make and tasty.

  1. Bhindi (Okra) – 250 gm
  2. Onion – 1 large (diced)
  3. Tomato -1 large (diced)
  4. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  5. Chopped ginger – garlic – 1 tbsp
  6. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  7. Chili flacks – 2 tsp
  8. Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  9. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  10. Mustard oil – 2 tbsp
  11. Salt – according to taste

Step wise with pictures –

Heat Mustard oil in a pan then add cumin seeds. When they starts spluttering add chopped ginger garlic. Stir it.

After 2 minutes add bhindi. Mix it.

After 5 minutes add the diced onions and mix them. Cook on high flame for 1 minute.

Then put diced tomatoes into it. Mix them.

Add 1 tsp turmeric powder ,1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp chili flacks and salt. Mix them and cook on medium flame with covered lid for another 5 minutes.

Bhindi do pyaza is done. You can add sabzi masala or curry powder according to your taste. I have added my home made curry powder ay the last.

Hey viewers, Today’s recipe is Rajasthani red chicken. The authentic Rajasthani laal maas is made from lamb meat but it can also be done with chicken. I have cooked it in my style.

It’s a recipe cooked with hot Rajasthani Chillies and a large amount of garlic . They use kachri (a Rajasthani local cucumber type of sour fruit) for sourness but I don’t have kachri so I used yogurt instead of Kachri.

This dish is typically very hot and spicy it was a favorite among the royalties in the old days. When they hunted the Jungle animals and cooked the meat with the Royal way they use the Spicy hot masalas to hide the Gamy flavor of the meat.

Rajasthani red chicken

Stepwise with pictures

At first dry roast the masalas listed below. And make them a fine powder.

Then marinate the chicken pieces using turmeric powder, dry roasted powder, garam masala, yogurt and garlic paste.

Mix it and Keep it aside for 1 hour. You can marinate it for 1 night in refrigerator.

Now heat mustard oil in a pan and add the chopped onion into it. Fry them till golden brown.

After onion became Golden brown put 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder and 1 tsp turmeric powder into it. Then add the marinated chicken.

Roast them on high flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Then let the flame slow and cook with a covered lid for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.

After 10 minutes put a 1/2 cup of water. And adjust salt. Stir it. Cover the lid and cook for another 10 minutes in medium flame.

Take it out and serve. With phulka. Or butter roti.

For marinating the chicken

  • Chicken – 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1tsp
  • Roasted ground masala – 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – according to taste

For cooking –

  • Onion – 1(large) chopped
  • Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Mustard oil – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – according to taste

Instructions –

  1. At first clean the chicken thoroughly.
  2. Then roast the ingredients listed below roasting ingredients. Then grind it to make a fine powder.
  3. Then marinate the chicken with the ingredients listed below marinating ingredients. Then keep it aside for 1 hour.
  4. Now heat mustard oil in a pan and add chopped onion fry till became golden brown.
  5. Then put turmeric powder and Kashmiri chili powder into the onion.
  6. Then add the marinated chicken and roast for 3 to 4 min on high flame. Then cover the lid and keep the flame low and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. After 10 minutes add 1/2 cup of water and cook for another 10 minutes on medium flame. Adjust salt.
  8. Stir occasionally and after 10 minutes take them out and serve.

Spicy hot chicken

Step wise with pictures:

In a large bowl take 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste,1 tbsp turmeric powder,1 tbsp chili powder, 2 chopped green chilies, 1 tbsp garam masala, and salt.

Now add the chicken pieces and mix them. marinate for a full night or 1 hour.

Heat mustard oil in a pan put dalchini,elaichi, and jeera into it then add chopped onions. Saute till golden brown.

When onion became golden add 1 tbsp chili powder and 1 tbsp turmeric powder saute for 5 sec.

Then add marinated chicken and saute for 2 minutes on high flame. Then slow the flame and cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Now add chopped tomato into it and mix. Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Stir occasionally.

After 5 minutes Add cumin powder and coriander powder And add 1/2 cup of hot water and adjust salt. Cover the lid and cook. Cook for 15 minutes on low flame.

Take it out and serve.

  • At first, marinate the chicken for 1 hour. Full night is best.
  • Then heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion and cook till golden brown.
  • Now put turmeric powder and chili powder into it and add the marinated chicken.
  • Cook on high flame for 2 minutes.
  • Then cover the lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Then add the chopped tomato and cook. Cook with covered lid for 5 minutes.
  • Then add coriander powder and cumin powder into it , adjust salt. Add 1/2 cup of hot water and cook with covered lid for 15 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Serve it.
  • It’s delicious.

Spicy Arbi Tikki roast

Step wise with pictures

Take some arbi how much quantity you want. Boil them in high flame till 3 whistle.

Peel them. And mash them.

Add turmeric powder, chili flakes, salt , roasted jeera powder and corn flour and mix them.

Divide them and take little oil in your palm and make them small balls and flat them.

In a flat pan drop 1 tbsp of oil. And place the mashed arbis and shallow fry them till golden brown.

When one side is done flip them.

Take them out. And keep aside.

Now heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste. Then add 1 tsp turmeric powder. Saute it till the raw smell is gone.

Now add the arbi tikkis and sprinkle chili flakes and roasted jeera powder and salt. Toss them in high flame. It’s done.

Serve it. It’s delicious try once.

  4. Roasted cumin powder – 2 tsp
  5. Chili flakes – 2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder – 2 tsp
  7. Salt – according to taste
  8. Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp

Instructions:-

  • First, boil the arbis (Arums). And peel them.
  • Mash them and add turmeric powder, roasted jeera powder, chili flakes, and salt. Mix them all together.
  • Take little oil in your palm and make them small balls and make them tikkis.
  • Now heat oil in a flat pan and place the tikkis .shallow fry them.
  • Fry them from 2 sides till golden brown.
  • Take them out and keep aside.
  • Now heat oil in a pan and put the ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and roast them till the raw smell is gone.
  • then add the tikkis and sprinkle 1 tsp roasted jeera powder, 1 tsp chili flakes, and salt. Toss it in high flame for 1 minute. Then take them out.
  • Serve hot. These are flavorful.

Bread pakora | Bread chop (step wise with pictures)

Everybody likes to eat oil-fried fast food outside. But it doesn’t good for our health. So it’s better to cook our own self. Now in the Corona time, it’s far better to make fast food in the home. And bread pakora is not so difficult to make. It’s a very easy and tasty recipe. I prefer brown bread to make bread pakora. I like the brown one because the white one is not healthy and not tastes so good like brown bread. But it’s your choice which one you choose to make bread pakora.

So let’s read the recipe below

Step wise with pictures:

Boil the potatoes and mash them.

Now heat oil in pan

Add jeera when they starts spluttering add onion. Fry the onion till golden.

Now add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and saute it till raw smell is gone.

Add turmeric powder, chili powder and cumin powder. Stir for 1 minute.

Then put the mashed potatoes and salt. mix it.

Cook till 3 to 4 minutes. And take it out and let it cool.

Currently in a bowl take 1 cup of besan or chickpea flour. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and 1/2 tsp of baking soda.

Mix them and make a thik batter.

Now at first heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan.

Instantly take a bread slice and spread the potato mixture on it.and place another slice of bread on it.

Look at this. Cut them from middle.

Then coat the bread with besan batter.

Slowly put in medium heat oil. Keep the flame in medium.

Flip it. Deep fry it till light red. Then take out. Repeat the process to make all the bread pakora.

With left over potato mixture. Make them small balls and dip in the batter and put in oil..when they are became brown take out..these are became alu bonda.

  • Chickpea flour (besan) – 1 cup
  • Onion – 1 chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp

  • Red chili powder – 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder -1 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Salt – according to taste
  • Oil – for deep fry

Instructions:

  1. At first boil the potatoes and mash them.
  2. Then heat oil in a pan and put chopped onions. Fry them till golden brown. Then add ginger garlic paste. Saute it.
  3. Then add turmeric powder,jeera powder,garam masala and chili powder in to it. Stir.
  4. Then add the mashed potatoes.and salt. Mix it. Cook till 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Keep it aside and let it cool.
  6. Now make the batter. In a bowl take 1 cup of besan .add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chili powder,1 tsp baking soda and salt.mix them together and make a thick batter.
  7. Now heat oil to deep fry in a heavy bottomed pan.
  8. Then take bread slices,spread potato mixture on one piece of bread and put another bread on the top of the potato mixture. Cut the bread from middle
  9. Then coat the bread pieces with besan batter and put slowly in the hot oil. deep fry them one by one.
  10. Done . Serve with green and red chutney

Then add potatoes. Saute it. Cook with covered lid for 5 minutes.

Cook till potatoes became soft. Because bhindi takes a small time to cook. Stir occasionally. Cook with covered lid.

When bhujia became reddish in color take it out. Serve with roti, dal chawal.

Instructions:-

  1. At first, wash the bhindis and wipe. Let it dry. Then cut the bhindis according to your choice. Small-sized is best. Then cut the potato. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and dry red chili when cumin seeds begin spluttering put sliced onion into it. saute it .cook till onions became slightly golden.
  3. Then add the potatoes and cook with covered lid for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add the bhindis .put salt and turmeric powder into it. Mix it.
  5. Cover and cook. Stir occasionally.
  6. Cook till potato became soft..and bhujia became a little bit red. Take out and serve hot with roti or rice.

Sahi paneer | cottage cheese curry (stepwise with pictures)

Today’s recipe is a common vegetarian but delicious recipe. My husband love the gravy very much..with naan ,butter roti or paratha it goes very well with all.

I have made 300 gm of paneer at home. If you want you can make also instead of buying from the market.

You can skip the onion and garlic if you want yet it will be tasty. So I don’t want to make you bore..lets read the recipe below.-

Step wise with pictures :

Roast the ingredients with 1 tsp oil. Add 4 cloves,1′ dalchini stick and 2 cardamoms with it.

Let it cool and blend it to a fine paste.

Now heat oil in pan.

Add the masala paste in to it. And stir it till 5 minutes.

Add turmeric powder,garam masala,cumin powder and chili powder in to it.

Masala is done.. it reduces its volume and released a nice aroma.

Add 1 cup of water and adjust salt. Stir it occasionally.

After 2 minute add the cubed paneer and mix it

Now add kasuri methi and Sprinkle pinch of garam masala.

When it starts bubbling off the flame .its done. Serve with pulao,butter roti,parathaor naan….

Ingredients to make the paste

  1. Cashew nuts – 5 – 6
  2. Onion – 2 medium sized (diced)
  3. Tomato – 2 medium (diced)
  4. Ginger – 1′ chopped
  5. Garlic – 6 to 7 cloves
  6. Cardamom – 2
  7. Dalchini stick – 1′
  8. Cloves – 3 to 4
  9. Sah jeera – 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. At first roast the ingredients listed below( the ingredients to make the paste) with a small amount of oil.
  2. Add a pinch of salt, turmeric powder, and chili powder into it.cook till tomato became soft.
  3. When it’s done take out and let it cool. Then blend it to a smooth fine paste.
  4. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and add the masala paste and put the powder masalas in it and keep it stirring. Cook till oil starts separating.
  5. Then add 1 cup of water and salt to taste.boil till the gravy starts bubbling. Then add paneer or cottage cheese cubes. Mix it.
  6. Then cover and cook for 2 minutes. Then put pinch Kasuri methi and garam masala powder.
  7. Then serve with butter roti, naan, paratha, etc.

Today’s recipe is very simple and a favorite of generally all people I think. Who didn’t like egg curry. And it’s a friendly recipe for bachelors. My hubby likes dry egg masala and I love egg gravy. Egg curry has several styles to make. I give you one of them…soon I’ll share various types of egg curry with you.

So let’s read the recipe below –

Egg Curry

Step wise with pictures

Heat oil in a pan and add a pinch of turmeric powder in it then put the hard-boiled eggs. After adding eggs add a pinch of salt. Then fry them till golden then take them out.

Prepare the ingredients for masala.

Heat oil in a pan (you can use the same) and put the sliced onion. Saute it. Fry till golden brown.

Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, and red chili powder into it after onion became golden.

After raw smell of ginger garlic is gone add a little bit of water and then add tomatoes.sprinkle pinch of salt.

Masala is done. It releases a delicious aroma.

Add two boiled potato into it.

Add a cup of water and adjust salt. When the gravy starts bubbling put the fried eggs into it. And sprinkle garam masala. I have added one diced tomato till half-cooked at the last time after potato. if you wish you can add also.

Egg curry is done. Serve with hot steamed rice.

  • Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil – 3 tbsp

Instructions:

  1. Boil the eggs in medium flame till 10 minutes. Then take it out and put in ice water and peel the cell.
  2. Boil 2 potatoes .peel them and dice them and keep aside.
  3. Now puke the eggs through a toothpick and coat them with a pinch of turmeric powder and a pinch of salt.
  4. now heat oil in a pan and fry the eggs till golden red. Then take out.
  5. In the remaining oil put the onion and saute it.
  6. After onion transform to golden brown add ginger garlic paste and powder masalas and Saute it till 2 minutes. Then add 1/2 cup of water and cook till 2 minutes with cover lid.
  7. Then add the tomatoes and pinch of salt .stir it and cook till tomatoes became mushy.
  8. When raw smell of masala is gone add the diced boiled potatoes.
  9. Add 1 cup of water. When water starts bubbling add the eggs and adjust salt. Put slits green chili and sprinkle garam masala.cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  10. Serve with hot steamed rice.
